This paper presents the analytical framework to identify factors affecting adoption and
implementation of sustainable supply chain management. The study combines insights from
resource-based view of firm and institutional theory with the concept of supply chain relationships.
The framework will be tested in order to understand and facilitate competitiveness and social
responsibility in supply chain level.
